Yesterday was quite freezing. We went downtown to spend the gift certificates our parental units were nice enough to give us for Christmas. We also wanted to take pictures of the city lights. Due to the temperature, that didn't last too long. Any Montrealer swears at least once a month that they will be moving to a warmer climate. For me, it's once a week, when we hit January.
To warm up, we went to see a movie. I convinced Jraff to see Yes Man. Well, I think what I did probably qualifies more as blackmail since the only other option I gave him was Twilight. Had I known that Zooey Deschanels was in it, I would have simply used that. The indie queen has a band of course in the flick. Check out Jraff's page about it, with one of their songs.
We finished the night at Olympico, for what I deem the best café au lait in town. The game was on, so it was rowdy. Or so I heard, since I had my back turned to the whole thing, busy playing with the colour saturation and contrast settings on the camera.
P.S.: Happy New Year kids!
